We also produce awarding winning Craft Beer & Cider under our Thornbury Village Craft Beer & Cider house banner. Our Beer & Cider line up won multiple gold medals in 2019. We also boast the top selling Ontario Craft Cider made from 100% fresh pressed locally grown apples.

We represent a range of international brands such as Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, Warsteiner Brewery from Germany, Frisky Zebra from South Africa and a number of other international wine suppliers.

Our Winery in Harrow requires Full-time & Part-time Bottling Line Operators. These positions are an integral part of the Winery process and will report directly to the Bottling department supervisor. The incumbent will be involved in all facets of bottling operations and should be familiar with production equipment, preferably in a winery setting. The ability to follow direction accurately is an essential requirement. The position requires individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time and within a flexible work schedule (day, afternoon and weekend shifts).

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Participate in Various bottling functions – bottling, bag in box, packaging etc.
  • Assist in line changeovers.
  • Ensure daily production targets are met and achieve Bottling KPI targets.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency of the bottling process.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bottling line equipment and assigned work area at all times.
  • Follow quality control practices through inspection of labels and packaging.
  • Lifting cases and assisting with palletization, pack and dump bottles
  • Follow all Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible work schedule ( day, afternoon and weekend shift)
  • Overtime as required

Interested candidates should possess;.

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in packaging operations.
  • Forklift operators permit is an asset.
  • WHMIS training will be provided
  • Capable of lifting 20kgs.
  • Manual dexterity is required
  • A self-starter with high energy levels
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, both individually and in a Team setting
  • Effective organizational & communication skills.
  • Must have a flexible schedule.
