A career in our Forensic Services practice, within Forensic Accounting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.
Our forensic specialists provide solutions and support for clients dealing with regulatory and crisis situations. As part of the team, you’ll help provide support to our clients who wish to investigate potential financial crime, support clients responding to regulatory enquiries, deal with cybersecurity breaches and provide expert advice and opinions in legal proceedings. You’ll also help clients review and remediate systems and controls to prevent further issues.

Bilingual French and English is mandatory
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Knowledge of financial services industry, financial products, and monetary instruments
Ability to provide options and recommendations to address business needs and manage deliverables
Knowledge of financial crimes (e.g., AML, fraud) and relevant regulatory compliance (i.e., PCMLTFA)
Understand AML technical components such as control list filtering, customer risk scoring, transaction monitoring, case management workflow, and regulatory reporting (i.e., STR)
Familiarity with industry standard AML platforms is an asset (e.g., Oracle FCCM, Actimize, Detica, SAS, Verafin, etc)
Knowledge of data analytics approaches (e.g., cluster analysis, K-mean, sampling methods, etc)
Ability to use advanced functions in SQL, SAS/R/Python
Minimum 3 years of experience in AML and financial crimes including client-facing roles and responsibilities
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or any related field
CAMS certification is an asset
This role does not support completion of the Canadian CPA designation.
