As the Senior Optimization Strategist on the Digital Analytics & Insights team, you will play a key role in maturing and expanding our A/B Testing and personalization practice across TELUS Digital and beyond.

At TELUS Digital we believe in constant experimentation to support business objectives. We have developed capabilities that allow us to deliver personalized content to specific segments of customers in a variety of platforms. We also have tools that allow us to experiment with digital experiences with A/B testing.

We are looking for a data-driven individual to join our team to scale the community of practice for this tool set. We are looking for a person who possesses a strong analytics acumen and program management skills to foster strategic planning for TELUS Digital. Candidates for the role will be passionately curious to understand the ‘why’ behind the data and are excited about the opportunity data provides in creating a leading digital experience for TELUS.

You will directly support strategic priorities of the business including churn reduction and prospecting using these segmentation and targeting capabilities, plus support and consult with all TELUS digital delivery squads on A/B testing and personalization so that all team members can continuously optimize the online digital experience on telus.com and the mobile app. You will work closely with delivery squads to ensure successful test launches as well as develop the roadmap for advanced Adobe Target training, capabilities, and integration with our existing platforms. You will also work closely with external stakeholders and leadership to evangelize the value of optimization to TELUS.

Be an ambassador to champion the use of A/B testing and targeting techniques across the organization to drive improved customer experiences and business outcomes
Become an expert on the capability set we employ for A/B testing and personalization
Be a coach to train & mentor stakeholders across Digital and across TELUS on the capabilities and opportunities for A/B testing and personalization
Help scale our practice and share best practices across the organization
Keep informed about new capabilities and possibilities in the technology and recommend business applications that will get the most from them
Leverage data to size and illustrate the opportunity available through A/B testing and targeting and to quantify and communicate the success we are unlocking
Proactively identify opportunities to improve our business and technical processes surrounding this practice

Qualifications

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

5+ years of experience in a Digital role, 2+ years of experience with A/B testing and personalization
Experience using analytics tools (Adobe preferred) to analyze digital experiences, or business results to find opportunities, and make recommendations
Experience with A/B testing and targeting tools, data management platforms (Adobe Test & Target preferred), and/or with planning, running, and measuring A/B tests, segmented content or business experiments (such as Lean Startup)
Proficiency making data visualizations and dashboards using tools like DOMO, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Qlik
Passionate about how data can be used to solve business problems and improve the customer experience
Strong presentation skills with the ability to tell stories with data, and ability to influence and persuade executive stakeholders and working team members
A flexible approach and the ability to accept and champion change
Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to monitor and manage high volume workloads
