We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic person to build and execute our approach to sponsor and advisor marketing.
You’re a change agent with the ability to initiate and influence key projects along our journey to be a leader in digital experiences. You have a customer obsessed attitude that will help to accelerate growth in a measurable way. You also have a knack for understanding B2B marketing and sales tactics for direct and indirect channels.
Your mandate is to:
Develop and lead the implementation of GBRS marketing strategies and campaigns that support our brand, value proposition, market differentiation, and business objectives.
Lead projects and teams in a matrix organization to execute marketing strategies, large and complex campaigns/projects from concept through to completion including development of internal and external messages, content, marketing collateral, and support materials/tools including return on investment assessments and post implementation reviews.
Provide coaching and project guidance to associate marketing managers and other peers.
Think big and develop innovative marketing experiences for our sponsor and advisor audiences.
What type of work will I do?
Develop and grow digital-first marketing experiences that influence business critical metrics
Lead implementation of measurement frameworks, tools and processes designed to demonstrate team impact.
Build and own overarching marketing strategies that differentiate Manulife’s GBRS positioning in the marketplace to plan sponsor and market source audiences.
Sell-in and execute integrated marketing plans that align with business objectives and the overarching marketing strategy and help grow our Group business.
Be the guardian of the sponsor and advisor audience, providing the best and most impactful experiences for everything “Manulife” that they interact with along their journey – from emails to events and beyond.
Lead complex projects from end-to-end - aligning research, critical metrics, and external messages, content, marketing collateral, digital and social strategies, support materials, return on investment assessments and post implementation reviews.
Manage each plan/campaign/project by following a project plan task list, ensuring successful delivery on all aspects of each project including quality marketing materials and, timely execution of each task.
Optimize the project’s activities, providing recommendations and ensuring alignment with the marketing strategy, project timeline and budget.
Collaborate and influence across Manulife’s matrix organization, utilizing contacts to build and strengthen teamwork, collaboration, performance and efficiencies.
In partnership with Global and Manulife Canada Marketing, Distribution, Product, Marketing, Sales Support, Research, Branding, Public Relations, Social Media, and vendors, support and plan marketing campaigns and projects to execute an integrated plan Sponsor/member’s experience.
Support continuous improvements in processes and functions to increase department’s efficiencies.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing related field.
7-10 years meaningful experience developing and implementing marketing strategies.
Shown expertise in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
Experience in B2B enterprise marketing.
Knowledge and expertise in digital and social marketing tactics and strategies.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry considered helpful.
