Position: Production Line Operator

Status: Full time

Location: Dorval, QC

Schedule: Two shifts available:
Day: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Evening: 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operating the overhead crane to ensure proper anodizing treatments of the production line, including the preparation and supply of machines, manual settings, control and monitoring of automated systems, management of product mixtures in industrial tanks, etc.
Ensure the proper functioning of the line by complying to quality and safety measures at work;
Operate electronic or computerized control panels;
Optimizing the management of product flow in the basins.
Monitor the progress of treatments and control the quality of the treatments;
Issue the correct diagnoses and apply the necessary measures to rectify problematics;
Record data;
Report any problematic situation or any type of malfunction to the maintenance department, the laboratory, the supervisor, or the director;
Participating in our continuous improvement process, in search of solutions and the implementation of corrective actions;
May be called upon to intervene with colleagues in the steps prior to anodic treatments to better attach and / or solidify the parts on the metal displays

REQUIREMENTS:
All combinations of education and experience concerned will be considered;
Secondary V completed, or an equivalence is desirable, DEP or AEC training in automation or industrial instrumentation is an asset;
Minimum experience of nine (9) months in programming and operating automated equipment on a production line is a highly desirable asset;
Minimum experience of one (1) year in overhead crane operation is an asset;
Experience in anodic treatments is an asset;
Experience in the industrial and manufacturing field is necessary;
Strong interest in technological innovation.
