The IS System Administrator is responsible to the IS Director for ensuring the smooth operation of the in scope IS systems and processes. This position is critical in supporting the global security, growth, and daily business activities of Trojan Technologies.
Implement processes to improve and sustain the delivery and support of company system infrastructure
Create, implement and sustain the systems infrastructure
Monitor and automate alerts to sustain performance and ensure the stability of infrastructure
Proactive management of the infrastructure to ensure performance, integrity and security
Implement software update, security and license compliance on servers and PCs
Implement security measures as necessary to ensure proper protection against intrusion and loss of company and associate information
Establish effective computing policies, guidelines and standards
Perform project management activities as necessary in direct projects and implementations
Provide in scope budget planning and forecasting support to the IS Director
Effectively collaborate with other WQP IT Shared Services teams on support and projects
Maintain knowledge and expertise of current applicable computing technology, industry strategies and technology evolutionary cycles

BS or BA degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience
MCSE is preferred for this role
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration is required (2012 R2+ with experience with 2000 – 2008R2 a bonus; SharePoint 2007+, Windows WSUS and SCCM, RADUIS, LDAP, IIS, MS SQL, Windows client deployment)
Experienced with SCCM, software update deployment management and enforcing controls using group policy, DNS and Certificate management
Hands-on experience managing complex global infrastructure including data center management, server and storage infrastructure hosted in a virtual environment is required (Manage ESX\vSphere clusters, add nodes to cluster, upgrade\patch, VM operations (vMotion, provision, snapshot))
Experience managing and implementing cloud-based solutions is required
Experience in implementing DR solutions is required
Familiarity with iDRAC
Familiarity with VPN, vlan, routing and switching using Cisco and HP hardware.
Tape and disk backup systems and Hypervisor solutions
Manage DNS for internet facing sites
Managing fibre channel network and SAN (IBM v5000 a plus; zoning and configuring FC switches)
