Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for energetic, detailed and organized individual to join our Wealth Management team in Vancouver on a temporary basis for a one-year Maternity Leave coverage. Working with one of the top investment team here in Vancouver, managing a portfolio of over $1 billion in assets, the successful candidate’s role will support a team of Portfolio Managers in establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Assist Investment Advisor with processing and confirming client transactions;
Deal directly with clients, provide quotes and execute trading orders;
Perform company research and compile statistical information and reports;
Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts;
Assist with servicing existing clients;
Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Completion of CSC and CPH Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) licensing approval with IIROC an asset;
2-5 years of related experience, with a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task;
Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels;
Demonstrated ability to take initiative;
Intermediate to advanced computer skills: good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
Knowledge of Dataphile an asset.
