What will I be doing?

The Lobby Attendant will be responsible for keeping all Guest areas clean, including the lobby, mezzanine and other common areas. This Team Member is also responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the Team Member washrooms, cafeteria, and administrative offices; this involves sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, emptying garbage and all general housekeeping duties. This Team Member will have a high level of interaction with our Guests and must ensure all Guests encountered Feel Cared for, Valued and Respected.

Experience

Previous experience in a janitorial-type position is an asset- Not a requirement
Previous experience working in a hotel setting is an asset-Not a requirement

Physical Demands

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks
Must be able to lift and push/pull up to 8.1 kilograms
Walking and standing is required for the most part of their day
Requires grasping, repetitive motions, twisting, hearing and visual acuity
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
Requirements

Must be available Saturday to Sunday and for all shifts; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 6pm-10:30pm.
Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
