Reporting to the CEO, the Bioheat Services Coordinator will be responsible for all operational duties related to the launch of bioheat services and sales in the region, inlcuding operation, demonstration and maintenance of log wood, pellet and wood chip boilers, distribution/delivery of pellets, customer relations, computer entry of all deliveries and customer interactions and other duties as assigned.

The Bioheat Services Coordinator is a generalist with a professional image, strong communication, people and technical skills including knowledge of power tools, mechanical equipment and machinery. Knowledge of the region, history and culture is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liasion with community members, prospective customers and businesses in the Hazelton region; promoting the benefits and positive environmental impact of bioheat technology
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all bioheat systems in the region;
  • Keyholder - ensuring security of vehicle, property and equipment;
  • Responding to calls for servicing, pricing and other information ;
  • Various computer related tasks - reporting on progress, issues, updating information pertaining to pellet sales and delivery, working with administative staff on various projects as directed
  • Assisting with planning and coordination of future projects and expansion of business
  • use of company vehicles and equipment as directed
  • All work must reflect careful attention to accuracy and care in ensuring a professional quality result
  • Driving company vehicle throughout the region to visit customers and make deliveries
  • Daily reporting on all activities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
  • Training or courses in business and/or sales highly beneficial
  • 2 years experience in a business related role involving customer relations
  • Proficient use of computer software
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License, willlingness to upgrade to Class 1 (training provided)
  • Local knowledge of area, people and culture as asset
