As a Physiotherapist Practice Coordinator with the Regional Physiotherapy team you will:

Lead/coordinate the professional practice for the physiotherapy services in the designated area of VCH to achieve excellence in client-centered care, education and research, including supervising physiotherapists and support personnel; the physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants reporting to you will have a matrix reporting relationship, first to program manager for operations and second, to the practice coordinator and leader for professional practice.

Perform duties such as:
participating in the planning and coordination of physiotherapy services in the designated area setting priorities, goals and objectives,
participating in performance evaluation and staff selection,
facilitating staffing and scheduling activities,
assessing and facilitating ongoing clinical competency development of clinical staff,
assisting and coordinating quality improvement initiatives in the designated area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

Degree in Physiotherapy, supplemented with a Masters in rehabilitation sciences, or health related leadership, plus a minimum of five (5) years' recent, related experience in a similar care setting, including two (2) years' supervisory and leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Licensed with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
Suggested membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Valid Driver's License and access to personal car may be required.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
