We are busy downtown interior design firm that is offering a full-time position for an experienced Architectural Technologist. Qualified applicants must be at an intermediate level and have a minimum 5 years’ experience in an interior design or architectural office. Other qualifications & experience should include:

  • Degree or diploma in architecture, or interior design.
  • Experience in commercial low to high rise developments a definite asset
  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe
  • Working knowledge of OBC - Part 3 & Part 9
  • Strong knowledge of millwork, woodworking & finishing details
  • Experienced in space planning
  • Knowledge of life safety, universal access, ergonomics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exercise precise time management skills, multitasking cad production for all phases on multiple projects, and meeting extremely tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting

Role & Responsibilities: You will be reporting to the manager, be responsible for complete preparation of contract drawing sets within budget and time frame. You will also be working in collaboration with other team members on multiple projects; delegating tasks as required. Responsible for direct coordination with clients regarding specific drawing direction/instruction.
