We’re looking for an experienced technical people leader as a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Talent Management Domain engineering teams.

Your daily responsibilities

In this role, you would:
Initially lead an agile and cross-functional software development team (Dev+QA) to build and maintain the Talent management Domain functionality.
Assist direct reports with career growth and personal development
Align the business strategy with growth opportunities for direct reports
Empower your teams, motivating and making your teams and people successful
Groom future leaders
Recruit high-performing QA and developers
Build networks and trusting relationships across a globally distributed product organization
Ensure work is planned, estimated, scheduled and delivered on-time with high quality
Work closely with Product Management to ensure successful delivery of product scope

Preferred Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
8+ years of software development experience in a technical capacity (e.g. Software Developer, Software Engineer in Test)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Knowledge of agile methods and experience in an agile team required.
5+ years leadership experience required.
3+ years leading in an agile software context preferred.
You have built and managed high performing engineering teams and hired top class engineers and managers.
Demonstrated ability to attract/recruit/retain external talent and be a coach and employee champion.
Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker with the ability to move and act at the operational and tactical levels when required.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
