The TA Scheduler is accountable to develop a schedule in Maximo for Maintenance and Project Turnaround activities that identify critical path, resource loading and required execution work schedules to complete work. Lead effective meetings to collaborate with maintenance, operations, and planning teams to identify scheduling requirements, due date expectations, and follow up on agreed action items. The TA scheduler is also responsible to report on progress during the turnaround.
The general work includes but is not limited to:
Lead meetings with operations, maintenance, and planning team members to ensure work packages are complete and can be executed as planned.
Facilitate job plan reviews with maintenance and planning team members to ensure work packages are complete and can be executed as planned
Develop draft TA schedule in Maximo
Refine draft schedule by collaborating with planning, maintenance, operations, maintenance engineering and capital project team members to determine critical path and coordination between jobs.
During TA update schedule progress and report progress
Capture lessons learned during the preparation and execution of the TA
Communicating progress weekly to the Project Manager
The minimum requirements for education and experience are listed below. Consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience.Journeyman and/or a Trade ticket in a relevant field preferred
Practical experience working ‘in the field’ is a ‘must’
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Planning AND/OR Scheduling in the Oil & Gas or related Industry
In depth understanding of Maintenance Work Processes and Principals
In depth experience using Maximo Software (or equivalent) and MS Office applications; 3-5 years experience.
Experience in Planning, Budgeting and Estimating are required
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities
Experience in multiple disciplines is preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to contribute effectively to a team and excel in a team environment
Self-starter - able to produce quality work with minimal supervision and guidance
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
End date: End of 2019 (possible extension)
Rotation: 4/3; MONDAY TO THURSDAY (6/1 or 12/2 during pitstops/turnarounds)
Hrs. /day: 10 (12hr shifts during execution)
CAMP ACCOMMODATIONS PROVIDED FOR ALL NON RESIDENTS AND BUS TO AND FROM SITE PROVIDED FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS.
FLIGHTS INCLUDED TO AND FROM EDMONTON OR CALGARY.
