12 Month Temporary Assignment
Reporting to the Team Lead, OSB Customer Service, the Sales Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and customer support for the members of the OSB Sales and Customer Service Team. This position is accountable for the administration of all contract and allocation sales including order entry, tally and destination revisions and pricing. They will also assist with the management of reloads and consignment programs to ensure inventory turn targets are achieved.
Post-secondary education in business or related field preferred
2 years’ experience in a Sales Assistant or Customer Service role
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
Must be able to operate efficiently in a fast paced team environment while providing superior customer service
Working knowledge of MAS and/or Dynamics AX will be considered an asset
Above average oral and written communication skills are essential
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must
Knowledge of the forest industry and experience working in a sales environment would be a definite asset
