We’re embarking on a couple of key, strategic projects; a Workplace Health employee portal that will serve as the single point of entry for targeted user content and the re-development of our old browser dependant and multi-instance, application into a SaaS based application that will be more responsive to system changes, more easily integrated with other systems and scalable to onboard other organizations.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will have an opportunity to work as part of a team of passionate developers dedicated to bringing these product visions to fruition.
Ensure operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and proposed solutions
Document and demonstrate your solutions through flowcharts, diagrams, code comments and clear code
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals

Use the following:
OO/Architectures: Microservice Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, API, n-Tier, OOP
Tools/Frameworks: .NET, JSON, XML, RabbitMQ, Web Service, RESTful API, IIS, VSTS/TFS, Git
Databases: MS SQL Server
Knowledge and appreciation of cloud technology such as Azure, Docker or Kubemetes is a plus!
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline, plus a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years’ recent related experience in architecture planning, design, development, and delivery of highly available enterprise applications. Coding and designing solutions using Microsoft stack.
Extensive knowledge of application architecture practices and procedures, understanding of the concepts of reuse around applications and API services when to apply, and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business groups, projects managers, architects and developers both internal and external.
Proven hands-on experience with MS SQL, web front-end development frameworks, JSON/XML, .NET framework.
Broad understanding of change control practices including ITIL.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terminology.
Ability to understand and clearly relate technical information and principals of operation to other members of the organization.
Ability to analyze operational problems and recommend innovative solutions, demonstrating time management skills.
Proven ability to plan and execute complex projects with stringent budgets and timelines.
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and decision making skills.
Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation may be required.
