We’re looking for a driven professional who will take ownership of marketing with a focus on digital for Dilawri Group and its dealerships in Calgary.
The position of Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the oversight and execution of digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms. This position will lead and oversee all social media and video initiatives for the group which includes BMW Gallery, Calgary BMW, Calgary Honda, Heritage Honda, Distinctive Collection (Aston Martin and Bentley), Hyundai Gallery, Country Hills VW, INFINITI Gallery and MINI Calgary.
In this exciting new role, the incumbent will:
Work with senior managers to create and roll out monthly offers for several dealerships
Manage all social media platforms and copy efforts to deliver a consistent “voice” appropriate for our dealerships and brands.
Work closely with our agency to oversee and produce creative for Google Ads.
Monitor analytics for 9 dealerships and adjust campaigns accordingly.
Support the development, implementation and monitoring of social media campaigns.
Monitor responses on social presences including troubleshooting issues as they arise through all social media avenues including: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube.
Conduct routine research as it relates to content and social media strategy.
Research, write and copy-edit content for our platforms on a regular basis.
Recommend appropriate digital/social media strategies and targeting.
Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to execute flawlessly on projects and brand building opportunities.
Develop and execute strategies and plans to drive visitors to our dealerships.
Monitor engagement with visitors and prepare monthly reports to assess and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
Develop annual social media plans with clear goals, key messages, a calendar of events, responsibilities and success measures
Oversee a team of in-store Social Media Coordinators by providing content direction and ongoing training.
Working with videographers, write and storyboard videos to create engaging video messaging online.
Develop monthly offer strategy, copy and implementation plans for our dealerships.
Manage and monitor social media budget spending.
A post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar program.
A minimum of 2-4 years related experience.
Strong writing skills and experience creating and writing messages that are compelling across a variety of platforms.
Expert understanding of online relationship-building and pitching.
Detail oriented, organized and data-driven mindset required.
Strong people focused approach to building relationships.
Possess excellent project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills in managing multitasking projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Committed to learning and staying on top of social trends and social channels.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite would be a bonus, i.e. editing expertise.
