We are currently searching for an experienced Manager, Food & Beverage to join our team, located in Richmond BC. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Director, Food & Beverage - West and will be an integral part of our Food & Beverage team. The main responsibilities for this role will be ensuing all food and beverage areas are operating in a compliant and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper training and supervision of all personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service in a manner that complies with Company food and beverage standards.

Duties and responsibilities for our next Manager, Food & Beverage will include:

Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the F&B operation; develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports
Assists in the planning, development and implementation of F&B strategic plans as directed at the site leve
Maximizes the revenues of the food outlets while minimizing operating costs
Manages F&B labour costs; schedules and supervises employees; verifies time and attendance; assigns shift work assignments, when necessary
Assists in the promotion/marketing of the business
Offers food and beverage expertise to internal and external customers
Carries out inspections on a regular basis to ensure consistency, reports maintenance and supply deficiencies
Assists the monthly inventory count and forwards discrepancies to management
Takes action as directed on the guest satisfaction Comment Card Program (F&B)
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, employees and vendors
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

Minimum 3 years F&B management experience; casino or hotel experience an asset
Hotel and/or multi outlet experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and mentor the team
Ability to provide leadership in a team environment and motivating, developing, and sharing in the successes of the team
Post-Secondary education in hospitality or suitable combination of education and experience
Computer literacy in MS Office; Squirrel POS experience preferred; STA experience an asset
Serving It Right, Smart Serve or IGB certification, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification
The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments through timely, effective and service oriented communication
A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational and business needs.
