To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
D.V.M. degree or equivalent;
Diplomate of the ACVP or the European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP); candidates eligible
for certification exams from these colleges will also be considered, but priority will be given to diplomates;
M.Sc. in the field of pathology or a related field or equivalent research experience;
Ph.D. in the field of pathology or a related field is considered an asset;
Hold or obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine from the Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires du
Have an adequate knowledge of the French written and spoken language or a strong commitment to
mastering the proficiency level required, in accordance with Université de Montréal’s Language Policy.
An institutional learning support program is offered to all professors wishing to learn French or improve
their communication skills.
