Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to grow business
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Achieve target profit margins through effective negotiation
  • Work with appropriate parties to resolve problems
  • Create sales material & correspondence to present to customers
  • Maintain and update information in company databases

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transportation sales and customer service
  • Dedicated and hardworking with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
