What is the opportunity?

RBC Direct Investing (DI) is hiring a Director, Client Experience Strategy & Analytics. You will support the RBC DI business in the ability to achieve the business strategic priorities, revenue generation and operational performance by leading the client experience strategic direction and various priority business initiatives.

What will you do?

Lead Client Experience Strategy

Lead the creation/ refinement of DI’s client strategy and represent the voice of the self-directed client within the RBC Direct Investing (DI) business to lead the development of client-centric strategies
Build a deep understanding of the self-directed clients through primary research with partners, behavioral analytics and synthesizing the learnings in context of RBC Direct Investing strategy

Business Strategy Development

Support the creation / refinement of DI’s business strategy; create strategy documents for Senior Executive reporting and as required by the business

Lead Strategic Initiatives

Lead initiatives that align to overall strategic priorities such as, but not limited to, Loyalty programs, Partnerships & High Value Client strategy.

Business analytics and reporting

Work with other members of the team, support the direction of the business through deep analytics, client insights and financial opportunity

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Extensive background and experience in strategic thinking
Experience leading cross functional teams (e.g., Operations, Product, Digital, Sales, IT, Vendors, etc.).
MBA
Investment industry / wealth experience
Experience with digital businesses or internet-related strategies

Nice-to-have

CFA designation
Canadian Securities Course
