Analyze internal processes and customer transactions to optimize pricing through ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities/obstacles and present to Category Managers with recommended course of action. Interpret financial results and perform variance analysis with investigation on underlying issues to optimize the Wajax Pricing Model.
Working Collaboratively with assigned Category Managers to grow sales and improve margin
Utilize analytics to mine data in order to identify opportunities within Categories to optimize pricing
Monitor market conditions, competitor price positioning and pricing/promotional trends
Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvements in pricing accuracy and execution
Education: Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field; professional designation considered an asset
Work Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in product pricing or data analytics or experience in finance/financial modeling/strategic planning analytics or similar experience
Skills and Strengths:
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial and business impact
Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power point) and Windows
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced interactive team environment.
