The Quality Specialist (Patient Care) Position in Vancouver, BC
Babylon Health Canada is looking for our first Quality Specialist in Vancouver. This is a full-time position and will report to our Operations and Logistics Lead.
As part of the Quality and Risk team in Canada, you'll have the opportunity to help us build and evolve this function as we grow across the country. The role involves investigating, managing, and resolving non-clinical incidents.
You will be working directly with in-house staff, as well as reaching out to patients that utilize our service.
You'll help with future risk assessments and the overall management of quality programs for Babylon Health Canada. This will include the management of concerns and complaints from Babylon Health Canada staff.
You'll get to work closely with our Associate Medical Director (Quality & Governance) and attend monthly risk and governance meetings to ensure that, as we grow, our people and patients remain at the forefront of what we do.
As Babylon Canada's subject matter expert, you'll also get to provide oversight and deliver training of complaint management to non-clinical staff.
What we're looking for:
While we're more concerned about impact than years of experience, and we do require at least 3 years' professional experience managing quality and risk programs in healthcare or relatable experience.
Relevant experience as it relates to leading quality and risk initiatives.
Comfort with leveraging technology and core software programs (we use Slack, G-Suite, Outlook, and other proprietary Babylon programs).
What we offer:
Annual base salary is ~$60,000
4 weeks' vacation

We have an office downtown Vancouver but many of our team members are working remotely. This position will be located at our head office, contingent on our government's recommendations.
