Optimal Air Solutions is looking to add to our growing team. We are a busy Toronto based Commercial HVAC company seeking experienced commercial HVAC mechanic or 3rd, 4th or 5th year apprentice for commercial / industrial HVAC service and refrigeration work. This is a position that requires previous experience in service and installation of commercial & industrial hvac & refrigeration systems.The candidate should be a registered 313A mechanic or registered apprentice & have a G2 or G1 gas license. Must be able to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot commercial systems. Clean drivers license is a must, abstract will be required.
Roles & responsibilities:
The HVAC technician candidate should be comfortable working on commercial equipment such as rooftop units, commercial refrigeration (walk-ins,reach-ins), makeup air units, cooling towers, boilers, commercial water source heat pumps, server room air conditioning equipment including Liebert units, etc. The technician will be responsible for completing electronic work orders & time sheets on company provided Ipad & Iphone for all service calls completed and maintaining truck stock as necessary.

Technicians do not have to be on call and work a steady & consistent 40 hour work week. We have plenty of work available so we do not have slow seasons.
