Permanent and full-time, in our Montreal office

Your role
Design mechanical automation control systems for various building projects in various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential)
Coordinate control requirements with mechanical and electrical designers
Carry out the selection of the control components
Perform detailed design and supervise preparation of the drawings
Carry out on site surveys and coordinate specific requirements with clients regarding control systems
Write operation sequences
Carry out control plans using AutoCAD
Verify shop drawings provided by contractors
Validate operation of mechanical systems on site

Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Engineering or Automated Production Engineering
Five years of experience in engineering consulting or commercial instrumentation and controls
Member in good standing at l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
Strong knowledge of digital controls and centralized automation systems
Knowledge of building mechanical systems
Versability, autonomy and good communication skills
Proficient in French, both spoken and written
Asset – Proficient in English
Asset – Programming skills
Asset – Knowledge of AutoCAD
