Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, the Lead, Digital Marketing and Platforms will drive digital marketing transformation for United Way. We are looking for an end-to-end digital marketer who is passionate about demonstrating the merit of innovative digital solutions through analytics and measurable ROIs, and appreciates collaborating with purpose-driven professionals to advance United Way’s mission of improving lives in Calgary. United Way Calgary and Area is currently rolling out a digital tool that will empower the future of philanthropy—Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud. This collaboration between the world’s largest charity and the world’s largest CRM, will change the way companies and individuals connect to local impact, empowering giving, volunteering, and grant-making, through a one-of-a-kind new world-class system. This role will be integral in leading the digital marketing and donor journey.

Responsibilities
Develop, collaborate, and execute digital marketing to increase awareness and action, engaging new and existing target audiences through exceptional online experiences
Develop, steward and execute overall digital marketing strategy to include: website optimization, email content, video promotion, and mobile and online campaigns to engage and attract new donors to United Way
Measure key statistics and analytics for all digital platforms; interpret data and gain insights to continuously improve
Maintain a user/customer-centered approach to digital strategies for lead generation, user journeys, drip campaigns and more
Partner closely with internal teams ensuring strategies are aligned to effectively deliver against KPIs and ensure all relevant business goals are factored into digital marketing projects
Lead the development and integration of an optimized donor journey and email marketing program
Create a plan to recommend and implement a DAM for existing and future digital assets
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop a comprehensive digital CMS
Manage all digital vendor relationships
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or technology, or relevant field with 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing
A track record of creating and executing leading edge lead generation and digital marketing campaigns
Advanced platform experience such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact and Campaign Monitor; content management systems: including WordPress; expertise in HTML and CSS
Experience with systems and applications like Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
Expertise utilizing Google Analytics, TAG Manager, Search Console, and Ads
Advanced expertise with KPI planning, analytics implementation & reporting for campaigns and digital performance metrics
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
