Tiercon is an automotive supplier committed to the manufacture of quality exterior and interior trim and bumper systems used as original equipment in the automotive markets. Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have moulding, painting and assembly capability, employing approximately 650 people throughout 5 Canadian facilities, and 1 managed US facility. Tiercon is seeking a knowledgeable, self directed, experienced and hard working individual interested in the automotive industry as a Maintenance Planner at our 591 Arvin Avenue facility.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is responsible to utilize and maintain the maintenance software to organize, plan and schedule all maintenance related activities. They are also responsible for all MRO inventory and purchasing. They will be responsible for, adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the TS 16949 Quality System and practicing continuous improvement wherever possible.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Megamation system maintenance, upgrades, and maximizing system effectiveness
Plan and schedule Maintenance activities Mold/ Paint/ Facilities
Working closely with Mold and Paint maintenance personnel, and Manufacturing Engineers to continuous revise and upgrade equipment needs into Megamation
Routine work orders, PM scheduling, Predictive scheduling and parts inventory and reorder points.
Validate and modify Maintenance asset list.
Validate and modify PM schedules and requirements. As well as attach required inventoried parts to the work order.
Maintain crib area, limit personal access, maintain organized layout.
Ordering parts required to re inventory the crib.
Ordering and tracking parts required for special projects.
Ordering and tracking expedited for emergency repairs. May need to track and report on some incidents after hours.
Generate Pm scheduler on a weekly basis.
Track work open verses closed work orders on a weekly basis. Report open work orders by person. Present an agreed format report at the weekly Maintenance review.
Monthly report on work order backlog. This will be work orders over 30 days, over 60 days, etc.
Other Maintenance reports as we continue to develop

Qualifications:
Grade 12 minimum.
Post Secondary Education in a related field preferred OR equivalent work experience
Current or previous trades experience an asset
Demonstrated working knowledge in maintenance principals and related software
Demonstrated purchasing and negotiations skills
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Work hour flexibility to support urgent part tracking /sourcing requirements
Experience expediting maintenance parts
Strong web-based research skills
Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 2 years in a skilled Maintenance related role
Exposure to Injection Molding and/or Painting an asset.
