Overview
The Key Brand Executive is a field sales position responsible for driving business, brand loyalty and brand recognition in a defined, geographic territory through both new business development and existing business growth strategies.

This position will be responsible for managing all Oribe business and partnering to increase sales of all Kao brands in Market Leader salons within the Eastern region of Ontario. Developing the maximum sales potential of existing Oribe market leaders through product education, sell-in and sell-through strategies, business consultation, merchandising, promotions and strong relationships as well as acquiring new Market Leader Salons through consistent prospecting.

We are looking for a hunter with a history of closing new business! The role will require travel by car and air to cover a large territory.

This position will work closely with the Education and Sales team members to maximize sales and education potential in market leaders.

Responsibilities
Deliver highest quality in-salon presentations and product classes
Acquire new salons to meet new business goals
Sell in new products to existing salons
Support retail segment sales through merchandising and promotional activity
Execute strategic education plans for each salon in territory of focus accounts.
Educate and consult with salon owners, managers, and stylists within Market Leaders
Identify and establish rapport with the top competitors' salon customers within assigned territory with the objective to convert customers to Goldwell, KMS and Oribe
Meet with clients regularly to effectively promote the purchase, sell-through and support of Kao products, promotions and programs.
Work with Sales Consultants and Sales Manager's to identify potential Market Leader Salons to develop and grow sales within (Creation of KBE Target List).
Support Sales Consultants in transitioning Kao Market Leaders.
Work with Key Relationship Manager to create salon business plans and proposals.
Present Kao products, programs and materials for salons to make purchasing and investment decisions, maximizing Goldwell and KMS business as needed.
Actively participate in salon events.
Participate at all Kao events as required.
Prepare periodic reports showing sales efforts and results VS Kao Target list.
Qualifications
2+ years salon sales experience with proven results specifically focused on new customer acquisitions
Demonstrated experience in writing and effectively communicating Business Plans to high profile customers
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional business relationships.
Product knowledge of Goldwell and KMS, plus key competitive professional products.
Ability to identify sales opportunities, make presentations and close the sale.
Strong negotiation skills and techniques.
Working knowledge of MS Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with the ability to create and properly format documents, spreadsheets, charts, tables, presentations and generate/print reports.
Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage time effectively to meet all established deadlines and to ensure timely arrival to all scheduled company and customer appointment, meetings and events.
Professional and groomed appearance appropriate for the professional beauty industry.
Ability to travel via car, air stay overnight (when needed) in order to cover a large territory.
