WSP is currently seeking a Field Techician to join our Renewable Energy team, located at our Calgary, 405 18 ST SE office. Reporting to the Agustín Louro this position will be responsible for completing field work related to the installation, maintenance and decommissioning of meteorological measurement equipment.


o Manual labour, including heavy lifting

o Maintain equipment and supplies

o Follow direction of crew supervisor

o Participate in WSP safety program

o Document site activities

o Make contributions to company knowledge management and practice systems

o Learn and excel through daily project work


o Flexible schedule, including extended periods of time and long days

o Ability to work out of town in remote locations for periods of time (up to 2 weeks)

o Ability to perform manual labour

o A valid driver’s license and ability to provide clean driver’s abstract

o Must enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

o Good initiative, attention to detail

o Applicants will be required to get to and from the office on their own

o Drug screening may be required for some projects

o Willingness to climb lattice towers considered an asset

o Experience with meteorological towers and/or equipment will be considered an asset

o A team player who thrives on working with other successful, energetic people
