Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant
We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant who specializes in administration, accounts payables and receivables. Someone who will provide Accounting and Sales support. This position provides an excellent opportunity to acquire and/or exercise a broad range of accounting skills and knowledge as the automotive industry is a very diverse and interesting one.

The ideal candidate must be smart, reliable, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, computer knowledge, and aptitude to work with numbers

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Coding, posting, and reconciling of daily accounts receivable, cash reports and bank deposits
  • Reconciling various monthly remittances
  • Analyzing employee expense reports to ensure accuracy
  • Requesting and preparation of cheques
  • Recording incoming new and used vehicle inventory
  • Reconciling of miscellaneous schedules and statements such as sublet and marketing schedules
  • Filing accounts receivables, payables and other various back ups
  • Post vendor invoices accurately with PO's
  • Monitor payment of invoices ensuring duplicate payments and entries are not made
  • Ensuring payment are made on time and don't become past due
  • Posting and closing POS machines

Requirements:

  • This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a current knowledge of accounting. At least 1 year of accounting experience would be an asset
  • Dealership Experience preferred
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize and organize time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • PBS knowledge an asset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
