We are Crestview Strategy, a public affairs agency. You are a senior strategist.

We are a global public affairs firm serving clients across Canada and in Washington, DC and London, UK.

We work with some of the largest companies in the world on a variety of interesting and complicated public affairs issues. We are looking for a talented, motivated professional eager to take up a new public affairs challenge in a leadership role.

You will bring a diverse range of life and work experience and apply that experience to lead major projects, advising clients across a wide variety of industries.

You will understand and engage with all levels of government in Canada, with a focus on provincial and municipal governments in Alberta.

You will lead new business development, contributing to Crestview Strategy brand development and seeking out and onboarding new corporate and industry association government relations clients. You will have the opportunity to share in revenue you generate for the firm

Qualifications

Public affairs is a unique and complex field and individuals who thrive in it come from a diverse background of talents and experiences.

Civic, issues or political campaign experience will be highly valued as will experience in government.

Qualified candidates will have 5-10 years of project management-level experience and will have had interaction with major public policy files. They will have interacted with the media, developed a skill set in communications planning and be a strong writer. They will be willing to travel as needed.

At Crestview Strategy, we seek those with an interest in the political process from the ground up and put a high premium on those who are civically engaged in their spare time and passionate about policy issues.

Familiarity with digital public affairs tools and proficiency in other languages will be considered added-value qualifications.

Important Details

This position requires you to work full time out of our office in downtown Calgary or Edmonton.

Most jurisdictions in Canada have compliance obligations for those who have previously served in government.
