Presales Specialist – Cisco

Position Objectives:
To increase Cisco revenue and gross profit, with specific emphasis on Cisco Enterprise Networking, Security and Collaboration products.
Provide Cisco program, pricing, product, and promotion expertise in support of our sales organization. Execute marketing campaigns, strategies, and tactics to drive business results.
As our Presales Specialist - Cisco, you will be responsible for:

Providing Pre-Sales Support to the Telesales & Outbound sales organizations including top notch, end to end Phone, e-mail and customer facing support on deals within prescribed thresholds
Educating and enabling the salesforce on Cisco products and sales process
Proactively engaging in strategy and planning sessions with sales and sales managers
Deep understanding of focus Cisco products lines and functional understanding of non-focus Cisco product lines
Everyday command of the Cisco Commerce Workspace tool including how to build/configure Cisco solutions and up-to-date knowledge of promotions and discounting programs
Advising sales on proper pricing per-deal in various competitive landscapes
Managing, tracking and forecasting sales opportunity pipeline for Cisco on a weekly basis
Obtaining and maintaining up-to-date Cisco certifications
Attending Cisco and Softchoice meetings, training, and events where required (some overnight travel required).
Leveraging existing sales communication vehicles such as Playbooks, internal portals and newsletters to ensure Cisco messaging is included and relevant

As our ideal candidate you’ll also have:
Minimum of 2-4 years direct sales experience in the technology industry
University Degree or College Diploma with Networking focus preferred
Experience working with a technology reseller preferred
Current Cisco Career Certifications strongly preferred
Must be highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment
Have an ability to work both individually and in a collaborative environment
Demonstrates the ability to present complex IT solution simply and possesses a positive attitude
