Located at the CN Campus in Winnipeg, Manitoba and reporting directly Business Manager, CN Campus Administrative Assistant position is a key to the operation of the CN training campus in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The successful candidate will ensure effective and efficient coordination of Reception and program support activities. They will be responsible for assisting the logistics team, which operates with time sensitive data to support training delivery.

Major Responsibilities:
Front Desk: Reception duties including student and instructor requests. Responsible for check-in including student pictures and ID cards. Provide IT keyboards, lockers, safety boots and other items as requested. Assist with student issues. Responsible for the Evacuation Site warden

Ordering: Maintaining and forecasting all non-safety supply items including but not limited to regular stationary items and stock. Maintaining stock and supply rooms.

Invoicing: Campus and facility invoicing. Handling all invoicing in an accurate and timely manner in compliance with CN corporate requirements.

Program Support: Provide Program and Schedule support to enable a smooth and effective process. Monitor program materials to ensure sufficient supply within predetermined requirements for all supported programs. Including the control of all loaned campus equipment (portable projectors, etc.).

Backup Logistics: Provide administrative support and back up to the Logistics team, First Aid process to support an exceptional trainee experience. Day to day stewardship of facility maintenance including providing coordination for work team on Campus. Coordinate shipping and routing of all campus mail.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma. Degree preferred

1-3 years experience with logistics and facility planning.

SAP knowledge is considered an asset.

Excellent oral and written skills in English.

Excellent customer focus and strong professional acumen
