  • Build our brand-new, top of the line GraphQL API with us
  • Use your SQL skills to extract and aggregate data
  • Work with a cross-functional team to successfully deliver on our objectives
  • Actively take part in and contribute to the teamwork.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks
  • Write scalable and maintainable NodeJS and JavaScript
  • Actively participate in code review/pull requests
  • Write meaningful tests to ensure our platform’s stability
  • Coach and mentor other developers
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives, demos, etc.)

The perfect candidate is a mix of the following:

  • Strong communication skills, collaborative and detail oriented
  • You are a team player
  • Most of the work is done in English - Ability to speak French would be ideal
  • You have experience in a startup environment (or eager to find out)
  • A sense of humour and mad skills with a nerf gun an asset

Here's what you'll bring to the role

  • Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS
  • CSS preprocessors (LESS, Sass)
  • Knowledge and love for React
  • GraphQL API knowledge
  • Experience working with graphic designers and UI/UX requirements
  • API design and development
  • Ability to work independently & within a team
