The Exciting Position:

As we continue our growth throughout 2018, we are seeking articulate, strategic and driven inside sales professionals to connect with qualified prospects looking to meet with our Territory Managers to learn more about what our range of technologies can do to elevate their business. As the position being sought after is an inside sales/business development position, the compensation structures includes base salary, commissions on appointments generated and sales conducted, as well as monthly, quarterly and annual bonuses. Our business development team works closely with out marketing team to continue to create a range of opportunity for the company front line sales including telemarketing and online lead generating tactics. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all Sharplight North American clientele. The successful candidate will address various technical, clinical and marketing inquiries, concerns and questions on a daily basis. The Business Development Specialist will independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines. The person should be personable, sharp and detail oriented with a dedication to excellence and a ton of positive energy. Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
  • Evaluating new prospects
  • Prequalifying new prospects
  • Closes new accounts by answering incoming telephone, fax and email inquiries; verifying and entering information
  • Develops accounts by checking customers buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes department and organizational goals by accepting ownership and accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities
