Job Summary
Modern Cleaning is looking for motivated , trustworthy and reliable day porter in Trail and nearby areas . Person will be responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- General cleaning of offices, auditoriums, class rooms, washrooms, kitchens, corridors, entrances, etc.
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
- Secure storage areas
- Ensure cleaning materials/supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
- Report need for equipment repairs and stock shortages
- Place garbage in outside storage bin
- Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs
- Report damage and acts of vandalism
- Perform all other related duties as assign
Qualifications and Skills
Previous cleaning, auto scrubber, and floor maintenance experience will be considered an asset but is not required. Must provide a police background check if hired
