OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Embroidery Classics is a busy home-based business with a fully operational production studio.

We have been in operation for 18 years as Calgary and surrounding area's top choice for Embroidery, Screen Printing, Heat Transfers, Promotional Products, Corporate Apparel, School Spirit Wear, Sports Wear and much more. We strive to provide a seamless and collaborative experience to our clients from the creative process to the finished product.

*Embroidery Classics, is currently hiring for a full-time Office Administrator position.We require someone who excels in the areas of customer service, team work, attention to detail, and communication to work closely with administrative personnel, customers, and production staff.*

Start Date: Immediately

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for the company
  • Liaison with the production team
  • Coordinate social media platforms
  • Maintaining filing system
  • Maintaining a clean environment
  • Purchasing of products and tracking shipments
  • Creating mockup apparel placement designs
  • Organizing all customer-provided items correctly
  • Providing courteous and helpful customer support
  • Answering incoming email / voicemails / phone calls
  • Providing best options following the customer’s needs and budget
  • Reply to emails efficiently and accurately
  • Handling all front desk duties with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
  • Prepare and processing forms from: Quoting / Order / Data Entry / Production / Order Completion / Invoicing

Requirements/ Skills:

  • General understanding of graphic design in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop / Corel Draw is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in an office environment an asset, especially a promotional company
  • Administrative Writing
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • MS Office (Excel / Word)
  • Work Independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Meticulous order processing
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to resolve any potential customer conflicts in a professional manner

Assets:

  • Understanding of Wide/Small Format Printing
  • Experience with Shopworx
  • Knowledge of Promotional Apparel

  • Work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Diligent in tracking and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Prioritize daily tasks
  • Manage and execute rush orders
  • Punctuality is crucial

Our daily internal software consists of three programs: Shopworks / Wilcom / Corel Draw

Experience in any/ all three of these is an asset.

Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00pm

Friday: 8:30- 4:00pm

Closed Saturday - Sunday and all stat holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
