Embroidery Classics is a busy home-based business with a fully operational production studio.

We have been in operation for 18 years as Calgary and surrounding area's top choice for Embroidery, Screen Printing, Heat Transfers, Promotional Products, Corporate Apparel, School Spirit Wear, Sports Wear and much more. We strive to provide a seamless and collaborative experience to our clients from the creative process to the finished product.

Start Date: Immediately

What I require from a successful applicant is the following to join our adminstative team.

The position involves data entry as our integral part of the team, interacting with clients, handling calls, emails, assisting with the production team, and working with custom logos.


Must be detailed oriented and should be competent and comfortable with the applications such as Microsoft word , excel, graphic software for example coral, adobe.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong ability to multi task, prioritize and follow through on client orders

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Ability to work independently and in a team in environment

Some of the duties required are

  • Maintaining filing system
  • Purchasing of products and tracking shipments
  • Creating mockup apparel placement designs-using graphic soft ware
  • Providing best options following the customer’s needs and budget
  • Prepare and processing forms any from: Quoting / Order / Data Entry / Purchase orders/ Production / Order Completion / Invoicing

Requirements/ Skills:

  • General understanding of graphic design in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop / Corel Draw is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in an office environment an asset,
  • Administrative Writing
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • MS Office (Excel / Word)
  • Work Independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Meticulous order processing
  • Problem solving skills


  • Understanding of Wide Format Printing
  • Experience with Shopworx
  • Knowledge of Promotional Apparel

Time management:

  • Work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Diligent in tracking and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Manage and execute rush orders
  • Punctuality is crucial

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
