Qualifications:Essential:

Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
Effective verbal communication skills

Knowledge of government's strategic priorities and its legislative and policy framework related to human resource service delivery

Duties:
The Manager, Modernization & Innovation is responsible for translating strategic priorities and goals of the division, department and government into operational, outcomes-driven work plans. The Manager provides leadership and oversight to direct reports and cross-functional project teams to support the co-design, co-development, implementation and evaluation phases of a project lifecycle. The Manager conducts research, analyzes information and identifies trends in order to provide advice and recommendations to senior leadership. The Manager designs and delivers internal communication and change management strategies. The Manager builds capacity and leverages the skills of divisional employees to engage buy-in and participation in innovation and modernization initiatives.
