About the Role
As the Junior Sales Representative, you will work with the Exeter Sales team promoting sales of new and used equipment to existing customers, and identifying potential customers.
Whether you have sales experience, or starting a career in sales, we will provide the training to help shape your future with Huron Tractor.
Some examples of activities you will be involved with:
· Maintaining current knowledge on product features and benefits available for sale
· Assessing customer’s needs and resources and recommending the appropriate goods or services
· Preparing and administering sales contracts following a defined sales process
· Staying current on knowledge of used equipment values for proper trade-in evaluations
· Utilizing sales/marketing software packages and maintains knowledge of financing options
· Consulting with customers after sale to provide ongoing support
· Conducting field demonstrations and staying current on product knowledge
· Maintaining customer profiles and information in assigned area for sales management
What We Are Looking For
· Post Secondary Education, Degree or Diploma in an Agricultural program would be considered an asset
· Valid G License
· Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
· Ability to use standard desktop applications such as; Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet functions
· Ability to work flexible hours
· Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude, while taking initiative in the work being completed.
· Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
