The EY Canada Executive Coach (Associate Director) provides executive coaching to EY leaders across Canada as a member of EY’s Americas Coaching Practice. This coach will have extensive and proven experience providing executive coaching to the most senior-level leaders with a focus on leadership growth and leadership transitions. The role assists in the execution of coaching and leads or contributes to initiatives to deliver on the strategy of the practice.
Your key responsibilities
Serves as a trusted executive coach to leaders across Canada. Provides individual coaching and thought leadership in areas such as: promotions to the executive level, executive onboarding coaching, and vertical leadership development
Possesses deep knowledge in coaching areas of expertise, responsibilities include both delivery of coaching and contributions to the coaching practice
Builds relationships with leaders and key stakeholders
Adept at communicating coaching themes; collaborates on best practices and seeks to understand and deliver on stakeholder needs
Provides thought leadership in the development of coaching approaches and initiatives to accelerate the brand of coaching at EY and be at the forefront of building transformative leaders
Maintains an external presence and promotes EY's reputation as a leader in coaching culture
Can successfully understand and navigate highly matrixed organizations
Is mindful of ROI measurements and suggests improvements to coaching processes and programs
Influences management in key business issues that affect the development of their designated client group (ideal candidate will be highly seasoned and recognized for their expertise within and outside of the business unit)
Receives general direction rather than supervision
Works well in teaming and collaborative environments
Skills and attributes for success
Mastery in the following key skills: Coaching, consulting, facilitation, supporting and leading change, strategic and conceptual thinking, influencing, project management, organizational/business dynamics, operational effectiveness, communication, teaming and collaboration
To qualify for the role you must have
Bilingualism in both French and English is preferred.
Must have International Coach Federation (ICF) credential: PCC or MCC required
A minimum of 10-12 years related work experience in a professional services or corporate environment; strong business context and business acumen is needed for success
Certification with the Leadership Circle Profile and Immunity to Change is preferred
Advanced degree or equivalent work experience
