The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will properly prepare and load outgoing shipments of finished products, unload incoming shipments, and transport of materials/finished products to appropriate department and/or storage location. The role will assist with the steel reel program, receive goods in SAP and provide backup/assistance to our Shipping Manager.


  • Prepare shipping documents in SAP, assist to coordinate trucks and shipments
  • Assist to unload incoming shipments and receive goods in the SAP system, ensuring proper documentation (stamped, labeled) and storage of the product
  • Stamp, &/or label identifying information and shipping instructions onto boxes, reels or containers and ensure proper documentation for shipments
  • Post weights and shipping charges; affix postage
  • Route items to appropriate departments if required
  • Assist with inventory control; provide weekly, monthly and yearly cycle count for steel reels and inventory
  • Examine outgoing shipments for any product defects
  • Maintain and neat and orderly work area, warehouse and yard space
  • Assemble and package products in containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding if required;
  • Load and coordinate outgoing shipments, process and print bills of lading and paperwork
  • Follow all safety requirements, abiding by all policies and procedures at Dura-Line
  • Perform all other duties as directed my management


  • Over 2 years of computer knowledge working in a shipping environment: experience with using MS Word/Office/Excel, and an inventory system (SAP or other ERP)
  • A minimum of 5 years shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
  • Lift truck (forklift) experience, a valid forklift license required
  • Ability to work independently, and multi-task


  • Computer knowledge and ability required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb with reasonable assistance
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
  • Mobility sufficient to allow frequent entrance and exits from lift truck


  • Fast paced manufacturing / warehouse environment
  • Office environment, forklift use and exposure to inclement weather, at the shipping/receiving dock and outside reel / storage yard

Overtime after 40 hours, wage is depending on experience; benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance) and pension match are included.
