Admin/PT Aide (Part Time) - Kingswood, New Brunswick
You will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
As a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant, you will:
Proactively assist clients with billing requirements as per insurance coverage
Direct incoming calls received on a 24-line phone system
Be the first point of contact for office visitors and offsite employees
Coordinate mail distribution and orders
Perform general office duties and provide administrative support
As a PT Aide, you will:
Processing discharged patient charts;
Mailing out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families;
Processing supply orders;
Uploading Service Provider Reports;
Clerical audits for all discharged charts;
Bar-coding charts for offsite storage;
Assembling chart packages;
Photocopying nursing documentation;
Acts as a liaison between the client and the PT;
Assists with PT’s caseload;
Maintains a presentable and organized clinic;
Ensures that gym area is free of obvious safety hazards.
To take on the role of Receptionist / Administrative Assistant, you must have:

- a post-secondary education in medical office / business administration
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a reception or customer service role
- well developed skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a publishing program (e.g., Microsoft Publisher)
- a professional customer service attitude
- a creative approach with a can-do attitude
- effective problem-solving skills
