MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for a Market Specialist. Based remotely in Vancouver, Canada and reporting to the Regional Manager, West, this person is responsible for driving sales through education and support of the Sephora Stores in their territory, as well as fostering Cast Love of MAKE UP FOR EVER and a positive brand perception.


Achieve retail sales objectives through the education of Sephora Beauty Advisors
Exhibit strong business acumen and communication skills
Build and maintain store relationships through consistent follow up communication with the Store Leadership and Beauty Advisors
Plan and manage time effectively when working in store to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in driving revenue.
Participate in and ensure execution of store events & initiatives to achieve sales goals, while staying within budget.
Review and analyze daily & weekly sales achievement by door and where applicable by Selling Specialist. Reinforce achievement by door compared to sales, last year and comp goals. Partner with Regional Manager to establish a plan by door to achieve or exceed sales plan.
Partner with Regional Manager to create regional initiatives & sales contest to leverage education to see positive ROI.
Understand business to partner and plan store visits which best impact the business Plan in-store coverage during key store hours.
Properly manage calendar & schedule to support Top 5 Doors in region concentrating 80% on the #1 Top Door.
Understand and respect the Sephora Beauty Advisors, Assistant Managers, Managers, and Store Director roles, and communicate with appropriate person to affect change. When Sephora procedures do not resolve concerns, address the topic with the Regional Manager.
Gondola Management: Observe, investigate, facilitate and follow up on all aspects of Gondola, including Visual Merchandising and Inventory weekly.
Attend Business Brand Reviews with Regional Manager.
Meet Sephora Brand Partner Expectations to result in above 90% love scores.


Be an outstanding role model for education and artistry skill and lead by example.
Execute training objectives set by National Director of Sales & Education and Regional Manager.
Educate Sephora Beauty Advisors based on curriculum set by Sales & Education Department.
Exhibit consistent, appropriate, and effective training and artistry skills.
Be a passionate, professional, positive brand representative to internal and external clients.
Partner with Sephora Leadership team in identifying and addressing areas for development: in artistry, business, presentation, or other areas of opportunity.
Support Brand and Sephora events and trainings. Color 4, Master class, Brand Trainings, NSO and/or new additional programs as requested to support National educators & Sales & Education executives.
Support all Education regional initiatives with the Pro department including providing education to Pro schools and participating in tradeshows such as IMATS.


One office day per month to manage reporting of sales, training trackers and other reports as needed
Strategically build quarterly calendars in Outlook in partnership with Regional Manager
Timely completion of monthly expense reports (if applicable)
Clear and effective email communication in a timely manner
Manage distribution of cast gratis

College degree preferred
Must have two or more years of experience in field sales experience within the retail cosmetics field. Experience within Sephora is preferred.
Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must be able to exhibit basic beauty make up skills.
Must have basic computer knowledge.
Must be able to travel, drive, and maintain valid driver’s license, with proof of insurance.
Must be physically able to carry boxes of a reasonable weight and work in a fragrance filled, cosmetic environment.
Must exhibit a high level of professional personal appearance and hygiene.
Must be eligible to obtain a corporate credit card.
