Job Summary

WE is seeking a Program Manager, WE Schools to join the Department of Program Implementation. The incumbent will report directly to the Associate Director of Program Implementation, WE Schools acting as an ambassador for the organization. The position is based out of WE's office in Vancouver.

Responsibilities and Duties

Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of engaged schools who are actively involved in WE Schools programming and campaigns
Serve as an advisor and liaison to schools/educators and provide them with resources and support to implement WE Charity fundraisers and awareness raisers
Create and execute a robust communication plan to deepen engagement within portfolio, with intentional touch point to increase engagement year over year

Project Management

Lead multiple related projects to ensure overall alignment with WE Schools program and directly supports the success of strategic objectives
Establish practices, templates, procedure of various activations within the program to support efficiency and streamline processes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesiveness between teams to deliver quality programming and being an ambassador for WE Schools stakeholders

Strategy and Communication

Offer innovative fundraising strategies for the WE Schools team and develop stakeholder recognition methods to deepen engagement
Provide ongoing analysis and reflection on strategies used in communication, planning, and execution of WE Schools events and activations
Monitor KPIs and trends within the region to ensure accurate projection on annual goals, revisiting and reporting to leadership team accordingly throughout the year
Implement and share tactics with other team members within WE Schools to ensure continuation of best practices

People Management

Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members meet KPIs, leading with solution focused mindset and practice
Manage day to day responsibilities and priorities for the team, ensuring projects and activations are met in a timely manner
Track and report on team progress and growth to direct report, to support development and growth for team members

Qualifications and Skills

4+ years of professional experience or strong background in fundraising and/or sales
Possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Political Science, International Development/Relations or another relevant field
A self-starter with a high level of motivation and an ability to thrive with minimal supervision
Experience managing and coaching a team to hit targets
Sales-oriented mindset, proven ability to meet targets, a customer-focused nature with built-in cultural awareness
Detail oriented to manage a large portfolio
Must be self-motivated, passionate, and have an entrepreneurial spirit
Proficient use of MS Office programs and experience with database management (preferably Salesforce)
Strong understanding of service learning, civic engagement and international social justice issues
Results focused with the ability to work independently to meet individual and team goals
Must possess a valid driver's license
