Guest Service Associate:
Check guests in and out of the hotel.
Exceed the expectations of all guests through demonstrating welcoming, engaging and empowered behaviours and by responding attentively, efficiently and politely to all requests.
Consistently take ownership of guest issues and follow up to ensure satisfaction through empowerment process.
Help create a positive work environment, through team work and co-operation with peers and team leaders.
Role model and champion the Hotel and your team with the utmost professionalism.
Work towards continuous improvement and quality in all areas.
Follows company policies and procedures at all time.
Other duties as assigned by the Front of House Manager
Excellent interpersonal skills including team building and organizational skills.
Team player and a self-starter, able to work effectively as a team member or alone.
Demonstrated computer skills with MS Office suite.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Previous guest service experience in a hotel environment desired.
Proven attention to detail.
Superior grooming standards.
Able to meet physical demands of job.
Knowledge of sales and up-selling techniques an asset.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year Guest Services experience
Front Office computer knowledge
Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills
