Our client is well known in the aviation industry. The client is looking for Aircraft Planner , you will be working in Calgary, Alberta.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create plans and scheduling activity in the ERP system in support of Work Orders and projects.
Create, maintain and track MRO Work Orders.
Progress tracking and completion of MRO Work Orders and projects, update plans and schedules as required.
Liaise with the production team to provide and obtain technical information.
Communicate engineering problems related to modification, maintenance, design, quality and materials to the planning lead/engineering manager.
Planning routine and non-routine maintenance.
Document in technical terms design issues to communicate with an engineering team for improvements.
Assist in the development of project plans for each project.
Research and recommend modifications to the program.
Update and utilize the “Visual” ERP system as required.
Other duties as required.
Liaise with all departments during the modification program to ensure the Aircraft is on Schedule.
Monitor daily workflow, resource requirements, critical path, and parts shortages on Aircraft and provide feedback to supervisors and leads.
Carry out pre-work meeting with production, materials and other departments to ensure they are all briefed on the work contents and expectations.
Carry out post work package analysis to ensure that any problems encountered are corrected. Collect data to enable tracking of hours and materials.
Provide a daily status report to all concerned.
AME licence required; AME-M/S preferred.
Required to work in assigned shift rotations.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience with Root Cause Analysis, especially in an AMO environment is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years in a mechanical or structural AME role is required.
Experience working in maintenance and modification projects is an asset.
Engineering experience is an asset.
Experience with Microsoft applications is an asset.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning programs is an asset.
