Country Operations Manager (in between SDM and hands-on project manager) (m/w/d)

The primary responsibility of a Country Operations Manager is to provide a service to external clients

to ensure that Data Center infrastructure installation and services are being carried out according to SLA standards with an end-to-end responsibility.

Working at NTT

Your daily responsibilities contain:
Actively contributes to the planning of IT infrastructure installations in close collaboration with the client experts

Performs weekly planning meeting to schedule supplier resources to perform the build of requested infrastructure installations (PTN – Product Tracking Number)

Controls and monitors IT infrastructure installation orders including SLA reporting (end-to-end responsibility)

Manages timesheets and invoicing for all local T&M (Time & Material) work

Managing of direct reports including team planning

Performs follow-up and coaching of team members, taking responsibility for development and training

Ensures that the team has access to the relevant tools and have the general means to perform their jobs

Ensures that team members are engaged and understand their career opportunities

Responsible for service execution phase including daily WIP (work in progress) status including reporting and meetings

Acting as central point of contact for local client work center manager (WKCM)

Control service acceptance of installed infrastructure and handover following standard procedures

Escalation point for client queries

Participation in management, prioritization, major enhancements, break fix activities, problem management, stability analysis, etc.

Actively identifying problems (end-to-end processes) and looking for continuous service improvement opportunities

Requirements:
5+ years' experience in service delivery within a large-scale technology services environment across a range of services including outsourced services

Interviewing skills experience

Basic management and leadership experience

Possess working knowledge of ITIL with preference to executing in the environment

Possess knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs

Possess a strong business and commercial orientation with a supporting interest in technology

Possess excellent presentation and communications skills and comfort with communicating solutions to clients at a business and technical level

Demonstrate a strong client and quality orientation

Proficiency in English and German (in speaking and writing)

Working on customer premises locations

Experience to work under pressure

A structured approach combined with a very careful, accurate and results-oriented approach

Strong customer and service orientation combined with good work etiquette, good communication and teamwork skills

Driver license

Education:
Degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing/Data Center
