In this role, you will coordinate the efforts of a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for identifying and assessing the requirements of a turnaround. This position requires close collaboration with the supervisors of the relevant trades, the turnaround coordinators and the scheduler.

You will use your expertise to:
Clarify the scope of work, establish the preliminary budget and elaborate the planning progress schedule with respect to our internal requirements
Participate in the preparation of the turnaround work list and during the turnaround itself
Perform site visits in order to identify potential problems or hazards and apply the appropriate corrective solutions where required
Supervise the work of a multidisciplinary planning team and ensure the quality of work, to respect the planning requirements and the progress schedule
Organize and lead detailed planning meetings with a representative from each department involved in the turnaround (e.g. operation, engineering, inspection, purchasing, etc.)
Perform detailed planning of a work order, i.e. figure out work steps, the duration and responsible trades, as well as material and service requirements
Establish installation strategies for all complex work with the execution team and help optimize the turnaround schedule
Plan daily maintenance work on occasion

We’d like to review your application if you have…

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
Bilingual (French and English)
10 years of experience in maintenance planning using estimation methods
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
Strong technical knowledge of materials and parts requirements and of construction trades and prevention in work planning
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in order to develop positive, cross-functional working relationships
The ability to take initiatives and follow through on pending items with strong prioritization and organization skills
The ability to multi-task but be flexible in a fast-paced environment
Alignment with our values

Preference for:
Experience in a refining environment or industrial construction site
Experience in SAP

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

You will work at our Montréal refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
During a turnaround, the work schedule might be extended and it might be necessary to work on Saturdays and / or Sundays as needed
