Position owns the daily contact with specific, identified accounts which results in the position owning the ultimate performance of their assigned territory.
Works with customers in providing appropriate information to meet customers' needs while attaining assigned corporate goals and supporting company directives to drive revenues/margins and ensure organizational profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
Identifies and develops business opportunities.
Demonstrates broad account knowledge.
Owns the formulation of account plans with assistance and completes and accurately analyzes SAM data. Manages advanced inbound and outbound sales calls in order to quote prices and place orders for product and services to ensure daily and quarterly sales goals are met.
Enters orders and tracks order status.
Understands the ownership of the customer satisfaction experience as vital to territory and corporate success. Manages the resolution of routine, non-complex issues under some directions or guidance.
Answers customer questions on pricing, availability of products, and any shipping or service issues related to placed orders.
Displays an understanding of a holistic approach to the customer experience from relationship development to issue resolution.
Helps Tech Data Corporation win their reseller's most profitable deals through alliances with internal Tech Data departments and our valued business partners.
Informs business partners of vendor-related promotions and floor days via assigned call campaigns and requisite, scheduled outbound time.
Forms relationships with reseller's and provides proactive business solutions via regular business development calls reflective of the ACI call coaching training.
Represents Tech Data professionally in daily interface with business partners/customers.
Willing to engage in Tech Data vendor and customer engagement activities that are outside of the pre-defined work hours as part of the total account ownership concept.

One year relevant work experience preferred for Associate Sales Representative and Sr Associate Sales Representative
3 years in industry or 5+ years sales experience for Inside Account Representative

High level of professionalism and business maturity.
Intermediate level ability to develop key contacts within TD as well as with business partners.
Ability to manage through non-routine issues and learn from prior experiences.
Intermediate systems knowledge and capability to navigate through applications.
With the willingness to learn new systems and apply them to their business for increased efficiencies.
Ability to successfully manage price negotiations and understand a profit culture.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Minimal ability to participate in TD projects.
