Midas Auto Service Belleville has an immediate opening for an experienced Service Advisor, or alternately someone interested in Sales and Customer Service with an aptitude for automotive work.

General Duties

This position primarily deals with customers, gathering their information and providing timely and accurate pricing for their automotive needs, either in person or via the telephone. Utilizing the assessment of a licensed technician, duties will include assembling repair estimates. Within the customer environment, duties will include quickly and accurately gathering customer information and setting up their work orders within the computer system, liaising with the technicians to understand the required maintenance/repair work, and effectively communicating this information to the customer, to finalize the scope of the work and making the sale. Organizational skills are also required, as the customer counter receives special-order parts, and tracks these against the customer work order. Completing the invoice, processing payments, and ensuring customers have all their paperwork. Computer work on the system is required for entering parts, accessing warrantees and applicable discounts is also part of the role.


The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn. A high school diploma is required, and experience with computers and Point of Sale Systems is valuable. A valid Class G driver’s license is required.
