Seeking experienced Gardeners/Landscapers to join our small company and help bring it to the next level. Immediate employment available.

Small garden and landscaping company focused on quality customer service. Client base focused in central and NW parts of the city, including both formal and informal gardens. We have a loyal customer base and focus on quality customer service. Preference for organic and natural approaches to landscape management (but not mandatory).

We also operate a small urban farming business.


INTEREST: You must be interested and have experience in the landscaping and gardening trade with intention to continue and grow for two or more years. If you bring your own unique experience, or business initiatives to the company that is a further asset.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in any garden or landscape position is essential for a team leadership role. Additional experience related to plants, soils, food gardening, lawns, landscape construction, crew leadership, customer service etc. also an asset.

RESPONSIBLE: Must be able to work independently and with others; take responsibility for managing client loads; personable and skilled at customer service.

INITIATIVE: Preference for candidates that show initiative to complete tasks well and efficiently. Dedicated employees that demonstrate the desire to grow in the industry and expand our business will do well with our company.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS: (helpful but not required):

  • Your own truck or other vehicle, garden tools or equipment
  • Training or certificates in landscape-related skills
  • Team leadership, business or advertising experience
  • Website design or management, landscape design.


Typically work in crews of 2-3; Weekly responsibilities include: lawn and garden service (weeding, shrub trimming, flowers etc), yard clean ups, small to medium landscape projects (softscaping: sod, mulch, soil and plant installation).

If hired as TEAM LEAD, you will have additional day to day responsibilities such as ensuring task lists are completed, managing work quality, keeping records and managing/training 1-2 other staff members as required.
